New players can sign up for Spring 2009. Fill out the registration form at the top of our website. Tryouts will be in late January and the season starts in early March.

There will be a managers' meeting after Fall Ball ends to discuss plans for the 2009 Spring/Summer season.

Welcome to the home of the Central Texas Baseball League, Inc. The CTBL runs an adult recreational baseball season in the Austin, TX area. The CTBL organized in 2003 as a Texas non-profit corporation and offers Spring, Summer, and Fall seasons. We play our championship games at the Dell Diamond in August, home of the AAA Round Rock Express, affiliate of the Houston Astros.

Fall Ball playoff excitement

The Texas Land & Homes Cubs won their second straight fall season tournament with a 5-0 win over the A's at Travis High School on Sunday.

Manager meeting(s) will be held over the winter to possibly establish division play for 2009 and explore expansion to meet the demand for baseball around the Austin. CTBL provides an affordable, fun place to play adult baseball in Central Texas and looks forward to a great 2009. The league has room for expansion to 14 or 16 teams easily and may be able to accomodate Saturday-only play, nights-only play, Saturday-Sunday or Sundays only.

The Spring/Summer 2008 pricing was $3200 for 22, 9-inning games plus the playoffs. Every effort will be kept to keep pricing near that level for 2009. The league will also be looking at interest in a small tournament on one of the holiday weekends in 2009.

And we will be back at the Dell Diamond in August 2009!
