RED WING ALUMNI VS TEAM GUS CHARITY HOCKEY GAME

TEAM DINNERS While most Sundays are taken, we are still seeking families to host team dinners every Sunday after practice. Please keep in mind that Sunday practice schedules change every other week. You may also share hosting duties with other families. Dates will be selected on a first-come-first-served basis. Contact Sue Dunham to schedule your team dinner. Once the schedule is established, the dinners will be added to the Website calendar. SEASON BEGINS! Check the Schedule for games and practices starting in November, but they may be subject to change, so stay tuned. There will be a scrimmage on Friday, November 14, at home. There have been changes to the schedule, so please check carefully. The November 29 game against Warren Mott has been changed to December 4 and a new game has been scheduled for February 28 with L'anse Creuse High School. Also, some times have changed, so please take note. NEW PICTURES POSTED Check out the photos section for the 2008-2009 Varsity Tryouts, 2008 Dream Cruise, and 2008 Golf Outing pictures! If you see a photo you like and you want a print, contact Saulius Mikalonis. Better quality prints are available for a small donation to the Berkley High School Hockey Association. Pricing: 8 x 10 - $8.00; 5 x 7 - $5.00; 4 x 6 $2.00. Postage is extra. REGIONAL MATCH UPS MHSSA has published the 2008-2009 Tentative Regional Tournament Assignments. Berkley is matched up in Division 3, Regional #24, with its Pre-Regional Game at Cranbrook. The four teams in the Pre-Regional are Berkley, Detroit Country Day, Bloomfield Hills Cranbrook-Kingswood and Royal Oak Shrine. The remaining teams in Berkley's Regional matchup are Marysville, Madison Heights Bishop Foley, Madison Heights Lamphere, and St. Clair. TEAM HANDBOOK ON WEBSITE The link on the far right of the banner will now direct you to the BHSHA Team Handbook. A hard copy will be available to all, which will include financial information. Please review the Roster 1999-2009 Link above for a listing of all the players who have played for the Berkley Bears Varsity team from its inception. You will note that there is significant information to add to the list, and we urge anyone with knowledge of errors, omissions or additional information to send them to Saulius Mikalonis so that we can make this information as complete and accurate as possible.
