Mike's game winning hit wins it in the bottom of the 9th.

Bandits Take 3rd in Bandits Bash.

Mike Koplitz slashed a two-out single in the bottom of the 9th to give the Bandits the win against Rockford in the battle of the River Bandits on Sunday. It took 2 extra innings for Rum River to get the win. The local nine beat Staples in the opener on Saturday by a 4-1 margin as lefty Kevin Auth went the distance while striking out 12 Lumberbats. Rum River lost the late night game on Saturday to the St. Croix River Bandits by a 4-1 score in a game that ended at 1:00 am.

Champions of the Bandits Bash: Bloomington Bandits

Bandits Supremecy in the Bandits Bash.

Bandits ruled in the first-ever Bandits Bash this weekend. Bandits secured first, sceond, third and 4th places in the tournament. The Bloomington Bandits came away with the championship with a 15-4 win over the St. Croix River Bandits in the championship match. The Rum River Bandits took 3rd over the Rockford River Bandits and the Staples Lumberbats took 5th over Ham Lake.
