2011 Beavers

Beavers Repeat as Division Champs!

After losing the first game of a 3-game series against Game Face for the division championship by a 15-13 score, the Beavers came back to win the second game 16-9.
 
In the deciding game, the Beavers found themselves down 16-6 heading into the bottom of the 5th inning. After scoring 4 runs in the 5th, the Beavers added 6 more runs in the 6th to tie the score at 16-16. Game Face then put 4 on the board in the top of the 7th for a 20-16 lead, but the Beavers again came back to tie the score at 20-20 in the bottom of the 7th.

After holding Game Face scoreless in the top of the 8th, the Beavers scrached and clawed their way to put the winning run across the plate, on an RBI single by 1B Jim Mauceri for the series victory, and the Beavers second straight championship!
