Montgomery Defensive Lineman Jessie Hooper (pictured) was named the All-County Defensive MVP for the second consecutive season.
The Bears defensive tackle finished with 13 sacks and 92 tackles on the year and was named The Associated Press Class 4A All-State second team.
“The biggest thing about Jessie is that you knew he was going to have in impact one way or another,” Montgomery coach John Bolfing said. “He was pretty much unblockable for the most part.”
Hooper was an all-state player as a junior as well. He was named first-team all-district in a 17-4A district that features the likes of University of Texas commit and fellow defensive tackle Malcom Brown.
“Jessie’s most valuable attribute is his intensity,” Bolfing said. “His motor is always running. He never takes a playoff.”

Wide Receiver - Devon Gasaway (Sr.)
Offensive Line - Braden Meador (Sr.)
