Viancourt named BGSU Defensive Player of the Year

"We had a winning tradition at Parma, and that attitude of improving each week and being the best is something that is much in place here at BG," Viancourt said.

The BG rugby club has plenty of good defenders.

None are as passionate and as well rounded, however, as sophomore Frank Viancourt, who was recently named team Defensive Player of the Year at the rugby banquet this past weekend.

Viancourt is technically sound on the defensive side of the ball, with much of the credit going back to his wrestling days in high school......(continued)

Blackheart Parents,

We are having a parents and team meeting after practice on Thursday, Feb 16th from 8-9pm at the NEO Soccer Facility. Please have at least one parent attend this meeting. The club will provide pizza and beverages for all who attend. There will be a guest speaker at this meeting to explain injury prevention and health management. We will be discussing the upcoming schedule, home games, travel plans, registration, and the annual Wing Fling. We have a great season planned. We need and encourage your participation.

Our Club’s success is not only due to the players on the field. Our success is achieved with the help and support of all players, coaches, parents, families, and fans.
