VOLUNTEERS
We need coaches and managers for our teams. By contributing your time, you can help ensure the continued success of our program. Please select one of the appropriate options on the registration form to help.
ELIGIBILITY
BASEBALL - Open to Boys and Girls currently in the 3rd through 12th grades
JUNIOR BASEBALL – Open to Boys and Girls currently in 1st and 2nd grades
TEE BALL - Open to Boys and Girls currently in Kindergarten
DIVISIONS
T-Ball will have one co-ed division for Kindergarten. Junior Baseball will have one co-ed division for grades 1 and 2. Baseball will have four leagues – one for grades 3 and 4, one for grades 5 and 6, one for grades 7 thru 9 and one for grades 10 thru 12. The grades 7 thru 12 baseball divisions will play on fields with 90-foot base paths. All others will play on fields with 60-foot base paths. The league divisions are based on the number of players enrolled in each age group and may be adjusted if enrollment numbers differ from the forecast.

Registration may also be made by mail if postmarked prior to 2/24/12. Late registrations will only be accepted on an as available basis and will be subject to a $25.00 late fee.
FEES
Kindergarten-2nd grade- $85 per player.
All others -$115 per player.

Most of our communication with parents and coaches will be via e-mail. Please provide a working e-mail address that you check on a regular basis.
COACHES
All Coaches who are not already certified will be required to attend the Rutgers Sports Safety Clinic. The time, date and location have not yet been determined; check our web page and Hotline for updates. All volunteers will be subject to a criminal background check.
UMPIRES
PAID umpiring positions are available for qualified adults and high school/college students. Download, complete and mail our UMPIRE REGISTRATION FORM You may also email our UMPIRING COORDINATOR with any questions you may have.
SEASON
A coach will contact your child by March 31st and let them know the name of the team to which they have been assigned. Practice will start in early April. The season runs from mid April to mid June. Games will be played at facilities in Clinton Township, High Bridge and Lebanon Township . T-Ball and Junior Baseball games are played on weekends and most other division games are played on weekday evenings, along with some Saturdays. Community Athletics requires that each child play at least half of each game.
TEAM SELECTION & EVALUATIONS
In an attempt to create parity in the leagues, no guarantees will be made on team selection. Baseball players in 3rd through 12th grades MUST be evaluated and will be placed based on their age and ability. Players in T-Ball and Jr. Baseball need not attend evaluations.
EVALUATIONS- CHECK BACK FOR SCHEDULE. Evaluation dates and times TBA All players should make every attempt to attend evaluations. Players not attending evaluations will be allowed to play, but will be chosen at random and placed on teams.
