The 2012 DEVELOPMENTAL HOCKEY LEAGUE is excited and proud to embark on its’ 10th successful season of developing Coulee Region Hockey Players. We at PHS have earned and maintained the status as the preferred Hockey Developmental League in Southern Minnesota and Western Wisconsin through our continuous effort to offer unique and quality programs which positively impact each and every student's personal skill level and game. We also feel that this is ultimately a developmental league and will develop hockey skills in your players and teach each player team strategies and the fundamental skills that they will need to incorporate in their game to have success with during all hockey situations.

 

2012 ALL‐INCLUSIVE ICE TIME

PHS 2012 will be on the cutting edge of offering you all the extra ice‐time and developmental opportunities that will fit into your busy summer schedule. We pride ourselves in keeping our program relevant and affordable for you. For the first time in 5 seasons we did have to raise our registration fee. However, never before have we had the opportunity to offer you the extra ice time and flexibility for extra individual development as we do now. Our ALL‐INCLUSIVE offerings are for PHS members only, and give you the following opportunities at NO EXTRA CHARGE and are included in your registration fee.

 

~Group Open Hockey~

(example‐ Get a group of PHS members together and contact me ‐ if we have an open ice slot – and I am available – It’s yours!!)

 

~Scheduled Open Hockey Times~

(per level, scheduled on open dates, at least 2 per week in August)

 

~Group Skill Development~

(per level, or certain skill, will have sign‐up at rink during DHL)

 

~Dryland Area~

(to use to enhance certain skills off‐ice)

MITE LEAGUE/SCHOOL

These sessions will take place on early evenings of Sundays and Wednesdays. This is a great opportunity for your young player to establish the basic skill foundations that will assist them with their overall hockey experience for years to come. Also, with our centrally located and fixed schedule, this program will accommodate your hockey needs without the travel and cost of other elite programs. Your player will have approximately 2 sessions per week. The league/school will consist of 14 sessions, and up to 4 teams. We will allow the first 60 skaters and cut off registration when full.

SQUIRT‐PEEWEE‐BANTAM LEAGUE

These games will take place during the week on evenings of Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. This is a wonderful alternative to the cost and travel of your elite leagues. There will be a 15 game schedule, so you can figure playing on average twice a week. There will be no checking at the Squirt and Peewee levels. We will allow checking at the Bantam level. Each level will consist of minimum 4 teams, with a maximum of 15 skaters and 2 goalies on each team. We will allow the first 60 skaters and 8 goalies at each level, and cut off registration when full. Birth Years:

Squirts 2003, 2002 ~ PW’s 2001, 2000 ~ Bantams 1999, 1998

HIGH SCHOOL AGED LEAGUE

These 3 vs 3 games will take place on the evenings of Sundays and Wednesdays. Teams will consist of 5 players of your choosing. Each player will have to fill out their own registration, please put your teammate’s names on the completed registration as well. This is a great way to keep your established skills at a high level, without the travel and cost of other elite programs. You will have approximately 2 games per week. The league will consist of 14 games, and up to 8 teams. Goaltenders are also encouraged to sign‐up; we will have a limit of 4. Team jerseys are provided. There will be a separate league for boys’ and girls’.
