Evanston Naturals Meeting Scheduled
All players and parents *eligible to play for the Evanston Naturals this summer are encouraged to attend a brief informational meeting. We will outline the summer program and answer any questions you may have. Please view meeting information below-

Evanston Sophomores Defeat GBS 10-4
The Evanston Sophomore Team improved to 25-8 on the year by defeating GBS 10-4. Evanston was solid all game in all facets. Marty Fenn earned the win throwing 7 innings and allowing 2 earned runs. Offensively Evanston started the scoring early by putting 4 on the board in the top of the first. In the inning Jackson Mihevc tripled and Marty Fenn singled in a run. Evanston scored all 10 runs in the first 3 innings of the game. Collecting multiple hits for the Kits were Peter Downie (2-4), Ben Marienthal (2-3), and Marty Fenn (2-2 sac bunt, HBP and 1 RBI). FROSH B SWEEPS HIGHLAND PARK IN SATURDAY DOUBLEHEADER
The B Bombers beat Highland Park 5-2 and 10-8 Saturday in a cross-conference doubleheader. In game 1, Leonard Wine drove in the winning run to give ETHS the lead in the sixth inning. Ryan Kleschen singled to start the sixth. He then went from second to third on a single by Sam Olson. Finally, Wine came to the plate with the score tied at two, and hit into a fielder's choice, scoring Kleschen. Ernesto Molotla was solid at the plate for ETHS. Molotla went 2-3, drove in one and scored two runs. He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the sixth inning. Eric Weine was a workhorse on the rubber while bagging the win for ETHS. Weine pitched seven innings and allowed two earned runs, seven hits and one walk while striking out four.
In game 2, ETHS scored four runs in the fifth on An RBI single by Eric Weine, a two-run single by Emmett Stone, and a walk by Ernesto Molotla. Stone racked up five RBIs on three hits for ETHS.
Jaco Chandra got the win for ETHS. He allowed two runs over six innings. He struck out four, walked three and surrendered four hits. ETHS stayed on top until the final out after taking the lead in the first, scoring two runs on An error and a steal of home by Weine. After a quick strike from Highland Park, ETHS responded with three runs in the fourth. ETHS scored on A steal of home by Leonard Wine and a two-run single by Stone.
