During his 30 years at Chapmanville High School. Ted led the Tigers to a record of 690-210. His teams won 23 sectional 690-210. championships. They won the Class AA State Championship in 1987 and 1997, and were Class AA Runner Up in 1998. His 2001 team reached the Class AA Semifinals. Ted has served as a coach in the West Virginia North-South All Star Classic and was named WBCA Region IV Coach of the Year in 1993 and 1997. He was also named West Virginia Coach of the Year for all sports in 1987, and Region II National Coach of the Year in 1991.
