West Hires New Coach

Congratulations to Willis Alexander, who has been selected as the new Putnam City West High School Head Football Coach! Coach Alexander comes to West from Mt. St. Mary’s High School where he has spent the past four seasons as Head Football Coach. He also served as the Head Football Coach at John Marshall and Douglass. It was at Douglass where his teams were crowned state champions in 2010 and runner-up in 2009, won a combined 17 district and conference championships, and made 13 playoff appearances! Under his tutelage, 122 players have received athletic scholarships, 5 were named High School All-Americans, and 18 were selected as All-State!
