Soccer Sensations, LLC is proud to announce that the Elite Development Program (EDP) will be taking over the day to day operations, tournaments and leagues from Soccer Sensations. We will continue to provide entertaining, exciting, competitive and fun-filled Futsal (5 a-side indoor soccer) and outdoor soccer leagues and tournaments for adult and youth soccer and Futsal teams. We accomplish this by organizing these events or acting as a consultant for other organizations. We specialize in organizing Futsal five-a-side indoor soccer tournaments as well as small sided outdoor soccer tournaments, but are not limited to these events.
Soccer Sensations, LLC provides soccer athletes of all ages the experience of participating in well-organized, fun soccer and Futsal tournaments and leagues.
Our emphasis is on sportsmanship. Participants will have the opportunity to put their skills up against others in solidly structured events. Being a consumer-oriented business, we pride ourselves on customer service to ensure that all of our customers' needs are met and all participants come back tournament after tournament.
By organizing Futsal, 3v3 and six-a-side tournaments, participating teams need fewer players to field a team. This is more appealing, fun and challenging for all who participate.
The United States Futsal Federation has given us approval to act as an agent for the Federation to promote Futsal by organizing these tournaments.
Soccer Sensations, LLC has also established its own Futsal leagues within Montgomery County, Maryland; Frederick County, Maryland and Washington, D.C. The leagues provide players of all ages an alternative to the American indoor soccer game. Futsal leagues assist players with development of their technical soccer skills.
What Is Futsal?
Futsal is the only official form of indoor soccer approved by the Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA). The term Futsal is the international term used for the game. It is derived from the Spanish or Portugese word for "soccer" (FUTbol or FUTebol), and the French or Spanish word for "indoor" (SAL or SALa). The game is commonly referred to as Five-A-Side or Mini-Soccer. Twelve million players in over 100 countries play it throughout the world. Futsal is played on basketball-sized courts, both indoor and outdoor. The game does not require the use of dasher boards as in other versions of indoor soccer, therefore it is a very economical and safe sport. The sport is a great skill-developer, demanding quick reflexes, fast thinking, and pin-point passing. It is an exciting game for children as well as adults. Futsal is played with a special, low-bounce ball, necessitating use of skills rather than the ball's bounce to propel it.
