The Transcona Mixed Slo-Pitch League (TMSPL) is a community-focused league operating in the Transcona area of Winnipeg, providing organized Co-Ed softball. Established in 1984, the league is Transcona born and originally ran out of Brewers Park (long gone now to homes) Arthur Day School, Crocus Park, Regent Park School and some games at the Nationals football ball diamond. Our home has been Buhler Recreation Park since 2008. The league is a staple of local recreational sports
The league has a long-standing history of leadership, beginning with Mrs Cross, who served as President from 1984 until her son Cliff took over. Cliff Cross then led the league from 1990 to 1995, followed by Leo and Teri Mistlebocker, who held the reins until 2000. Tracy and Brian Wait managed operations for the next seventeen years until 2017, when Ryan Kjernisted assumed the role. Ryan served until the end of the 2024 season, handing over the presidency to current leader Steve Skehar.
