Jacket News
Welcome to another season of Jacket Football and Cheer
During the month of August football will practice Mon-Fri. Once we have had our first game we will practice Mon-Thur. This may change due to school functions, play offs and weather. Please join our face book page so as you can keep up with any changes. Cheer will be given their schedule by Lindsay or Steph.
We also have a few fundraisers that we do to help offset the cost of football and cheer, funds raised go for banquet awards and to help with other related costs for the team. Please participate in them. Its for the kids.
We require that all football and cheer families donate pop to the concession stand. We also need volunteers to work the concession stand, 50/50, chains, score board and clean up for the home games and field day. Those that volunteer will be given auction tickets for gifts at the banquet.
There is NO SMOKING, FOUL LANGUAGE OR DOGS on school grounds at practice or games. Language can be deemed harmful and call for immediate removal from the field. The smoking and dog rule is something done by the school systems and not the league. Per our permits with the school systems the Area Head Coaches are representatives of the school system and enforce all school, city and state rules for school ground use. Please refrain from smoking so as you can enjoy watching your child play. Please refer to the rules provided for any questions.
No parent or adult is allowed on the practice field during practice at any time. You must be NAYS approved to work with the kids. This is not a team rule but a league rule that will be enforced.
2020 Fundraisers for football/cheer
Taco Dinner – All players/cheer leaders required to sell 2 tickets. Sell 10 or more and keep 30.00 of the money. All monies earned from this go towards banquet awards.
Little Caesars Football – We use this money to buy Jersey's for the players with their name on it that they keep. Only players participating in the fundraiser get the Jersey's or for 50.00 you can buy one.
Little Caesars Cheer – Monies from this goes towards different clothing items for the cheerleaders
Both squads will have additional fundraisers do to increased costs of banquet awards, cater services, cheer equipment and football equipment.
Please volunteer for the concession stand. This is the major fundraiser for the team and all monies for this goes towards the banquet gifts. We also require that each parent donate at least one case of pop, water or gatorade to the concession stand.
