Peppers participated in the 2016 Top Gun Events Invite and the PGF Winter Showcase at Griffon Indoor in St. Joe, MO.

Great annual event with 30+ colleges in attendance to watch the Peppers, which played a very tough schedule against great teams with multiple college commits.

 

Tulsa Shootout Gold - 1 vs. KC Peppers - 0

 

Great pitching match-up against the Shootout with the Peppers sending Boyd and Zuniga to the cirlce against a tough Shootout line-up. Peppers strand multiple runners in scoring position in the 1-0 loss.

 

KC Monarchs Gold - 3 vs. KC Peppers - 1

 

Match-up of solid pitching again with Monarchs sending NE-Kearney commit Stoner to the circle against Larson and Zuniga. Peppers tie the game on a Huslig solo bomb only to surrender the lead in the final inning on a two run dinger by Central Methodist commit Steeby.

 

KC Peppers - 1 vs. Iowa Premier - 1

 

Great game with loaded Premier led in the circle by Wisconsin commit Menz., Peppers battle for a 1-1 tie highlighed by Boyd and Zuniga in the circle and Wallace RBI single.

 

KC Peppers - 4 vs. Nebraska Gold - 3

 

13 college commits participate in this game of talented team, Nebraska Gold sent highly sought after Rienberg to the circle against Larson. Peppers mount a comeback let led by Kleinschmits 2rbi double to take the lead late.

 

Team Power Gold - 5 vs. KC Peppers - 2

 

Power take advantage of the longball to power to victory, Peppers are a little flat in final game of a greate weekend.
