SSSF Goes 3-0 at Memorial Hall
1/31/2013by SSSF Admin

It was a long day for the SSSF competition team having spent the day in Rhode Island at the NAGA grappling championships but it turned out to be a great night as SSSF went 3-0 on the Cage Titans card in Plymouth Ma at one of the best venues around for fighting, Memorial Hall.

Talented amateur and a man of many nicknames (we'll find one that'll stick one day Manatee), Manny Bermudez started out the night for SSSF with a quick victory by guillotine choke at under 1 minute in the first round.

Johnny Campbell also made quick work of his opponent with a viscious TKO via good ol' SSSF style aggressive ground and pound.

Next up was Ryan "Great" White in a rematch with Hector "The Spartan" Sanchez who with a history of never making weight and often losing fights due to screaming has arguably the biggest misnomer of a nickname in all of MMA. In their first fight Ryan wasn't training much so it took him the better part of the round to make The Spartan quit. This time Ryan trained hard and was in great shape. He took Sanchez down quickly and with ease where he finsihed him off with a slick armbar set up by some solid ground and pound.

Good work boys! And huge thanks to the big contingent of SSSF friends and family who came out to support us!
