The Peppers welcome the following players to the roster for the 2019/2020 campaign!
2021: Emme Hall Outfield - Bolivar, MO (Bolivar High School)
Emme is a protype leadoff hitter and centerfielder. She has above average speed, is long and athletic. A gap hitter with a solid understanding of the zone should generate a high average. In the outfield she gets good jumps on the ball and takes good angles, closing ground quickly when the ball is in the gaps. On the bases she is gifted, athletic and smart.
2022: Molly Heidrick: P/1B - Overland Park, KS (BVSW High School)
Molly is a pitcher/1B that checks the boxes when scouting a pitcher. She is 5'10" with long limbs, she has good down movement and changes speeds. She is getting several looks at the D.I level due to her build and potential. At the plate she has good hand-eye with good pop that will improve as she matures. Molly was ranked #121 in the Extra Innings 2022 pitching class, which will rise throughout the upcoming year.
2022: Taylor Howe: 3B/C - Warsaw, MO (Warsaw High School)
Taylor has experience with the team as a guest player, which included her first experience at the IDT as an 8th grader. Taylor is a solid hitting prospect that includes gap-to-gap power and above average speed. In the field she is steady at 3B and advanced behind the plate with her receiving and blocking. Taylor posses an above average arm which she displays at both positions. Taylor was ranked #81 in the Extra Innings 2022 catching class as of June.
2023: Kasey Wood: P/Corner IF - Bentonville, AR (Bentonville High School)
Kasey comes to the Peppers from 14s where she was dominate at times for her previous team. She is a big strong pitcher with above average velocity and good spins. In the field she possesses a 71mph arm and good agility at 3B and 1B. Offensively she is 60 potential with her power and will hit for average. She is getting several looks at the D.I level becuase of her size and tools. Kasey was ranked #36 in the Extra Innings pitching class as of June.
