Here is a list of things to remember heading into the winter season.
-Make sure a team roster is turned in to the time keeper before the start of every game. Player's numbers and names must be correct on the team roster.
-All players must wear the same "base color" jersey. Jersey's don't have to be exactly the same but they all have to have different numbers and numbers must be permanent (no tape). -We play three 15:00 stop time periods. We switch to run time if a team is up by 8 goals at any point in the game or if a team is up by 5 goals in the last 5:00 of the game. -We will play a 3:00 4 on 4 overtime if there is more the 8 minutes left in our ice slot. If there is 7:00 or less we go straight to a shootout. -We have a four penalty game ejection rule. If a player receives 4 penalties they are automatically ejected from the game. This rule does not apply in Div 1. -In our bottom two Divisions there is a 3 goal max per player. If a player has reached the three goal max they are not permitted to shoot in a shootout. -In our bottom two Divisions Body Contact penalties are a minimum 4:00 double minor. -When it comes to seeding teams for playoffs we seed teams by winning percentage in their current division. -All fines issued as a result of a player suspension are Team Fines and must be paid before the team's next game.
-In a case where a suspended player plays on more than 1 team, they are ineligible to play on other teams until they have served their suspension in full.
-Visors are mandatory.
-Players who have not played in the CCRHL before are required to register online prior to playing. Roster freeze in effect after December 31 2013.
-Players are not permitted on the ice or benches during floods and cannot return on to benches until after the flood is completed and Zamboni gates have been closed.
-Alcohol and Tobacco is not permitted in all facilities. If your team is caught with evidence of alcohol or tobacco the entire team will be suspended indefinitely.
