The Oakville Seals improved their record to 1-1 in the Central Plains Novice League with an exciting 8-4 win over St. Eustache on Sunday afternoon at the Oakville Arena.  Christopher Topfer scored two goals and an assist to support Jackson Lee's acrobatic efforts between the pipes. Cam Sarna had a goal and a helper for the Seals who also got three goals and two assists from Maddox Shindle.  Colby Nikkel and Jack Holmes had singles for the home squad while Daehan Butler and Seanna Nikkel chipped in with an assist each. Taylor Klaassen and Tristan Blight played their usual stifling defense in front of Lee who was dominant in the Seals crease. 

The Seals have two league games next weekend, travelling to St. Claude to play the Long Plains Jr. Scouts on Saturday before hosting the talented Portage Terriers 1 on Sunday afternoon.
