Practice update
5/30/2018by COACH G

Morning TriCity, today's practice session (Thursday 31 MAY) will be conducted at Doughboy Stadium on Fort Benning, the actual address is 153 Sigerfoos Road, Ft. Benning, Ga 31905 from 6-8. Doughboy has a policy 'no spikes of any kind' can be used (please only bring your regular tennis shoes, running shoes) and definitely 2 bottles of water.

Parent if you do not have a ID card, you must enter the installation through the main gate off 185 south, at the entry gate you must go inside and show your driver's license and get a pass, then proceed through the entry gate showing both your driver's license and the pass that you just received, as soon as you have access take the Cluster Road exit continue straight passing both the class 6/fire station both will be on your left, continue straight until you pass the post cemetary on your left and the exit gate on your right, at the traffic light, turn left and continue straight going over the bridge straight up through the housing crossing over two speed tables, at the stop sign look right, you will see the stadium on your right.

Again, absolutely no spikes is allowed in the stadium.

We will return back to Carver on Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday for our practice session in preparation for our track meet which will be held in Huntsville, Al @ Madsion Academy 325 Slaughter Road, Huntsville, Al on 9 JUN from 0800- 4:30 pm or thereabouts. Parents I need you to get with Ms. Thomas and get your team tote bag (they are only $4.00 each) it would be Awesome for all of our student athletes to have one.

Also I would like each of you to let either Ms. Moore/Ms. Trapp/Ms. Thomas what refreshment(s) you would be able to bring for our student athletes (pickles, pop tarts, peanut butter & jelly sandwiches, water, granola bars, fruit). Actually some of you have really been the same ones donating meet after meet, so "You" standdown and allow others to do their share.

Parents the birth certificates that I have will be overnighted to the State of Alabama (USATF) on 2 JUN, I can't wait any longer. If your student athlete birth is not verified their season is over and they can't advance.

Now that "all" of our coaches are now ready to give our student athletes the necessary guidance, I would appreciate you paying attention and asking them what would make you better in your events, these next few meets will be paramount in you getting to the JO. PAY ATTENTION and stop all these conversations with your homey's.

Have a great day full of blessings
