Sparkman Track and Field Junior Varsity competed Thursday, 3/5 in the Inaugural Senator Jr. High Classic #1 at the new Sparkman High School Track.

 

The Boys finished 1st and the Girls finished 1st out of 3 teams.

 

Davon Dubose dominated the Boys Sprint Events with two first place finishes in 200m (23.15) and 400m (51.75). 

 

Camryn Carthen and Janae Hilliard executed a SWEEP of the Girls Sprint Events with all first place finishes in 100m-Janae (12.53), 200m-Camryn (26.34) and 400m-Camryn (1:04.72). 

 

Samantha Menikheim took the first place medal in the Girls 1600m with a time of 6:01.97.

 

Rounding out the individual Gold Medals was Desmend Hardrick in the Boys 100m Hurdles with a winning time of 19.73.

 

The Boys and Girls 4x100 Relays teams both took Gold as did the Girls 4x400 Relay team.
