FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
TRI-CITY ALL-STARS BASKETBALL TEAM IS RETURNING FOR THE ABA’S 2021-22 SEASON!

San Antonio, TX. - The Tri-City All-Stars (TCAS) Men’s semi-professional basketball team is excited to be back and gearing up for the American Basketball Association (ABA) 2021-22 season. The Tri-City All-Stars represent the San Antonio, TX (aka Military City) area of the ABA South Central Region.

The TCAS are a majority Military-owned team and operated by the VSJ Ballers, LLC, which consists of
the following individuals: Nathan Keselring (US Navy Veteran), Sharon M. and James N. Blacknall
(both are USAF Veterans), Vaughn Coker (Ret. CMC US Navy), Dean Midlick, Mark A. Gonzales and San
Antonio Spurs legend, Johnny “00” Moore.

In addition to being a general partner, Moore is the team’s Head Coach. Between Moore and the rest of the coaching staff,  they bring over  70  years of basketball playing and coaching experience to help get TCAS players ready to excel in the ABA, as well as get ready for the next level of play and life. The TCAS  organization strongly believes  “It’s more than just a game”  and encourages players to pursue their business interests outside of basketball in preparation for life after basketball.  Several current and former TCAS players have played in
leagues in Mexico, El Salvador, Canada, Dubai, and France.

Prior to the pandemic cutting the ABA’s 2019-20 season short, the Tri-City All-Stars were coming off of a very successful run. TCAS was the 2019 NBA San Antonio Pro-Am Champions, the ABA South Central Division leaders with a 16-0 record, and ranked #3 in the ABA out of 175 teams. We look forward to continuing to build not only our team and organization but to strengthen community ties as well.

The Tri-City All-Stars have several new initiatives that they will be rolling out including expanding their TCAS Bully Buster™ program for kids. TCAS, along with their nonprofit arm, All-Stars Cares will be partnering with Military Veterans Against Child Abuse to introduce new anti-bullying campaigns.

TCAS will be playing their home games at the Antioch Sports Complex (former WNBA Facility) at 314 Eross Street, San Antonio, TX 78202. The first game will be the 3rd Annual game versus the Ft. Sam Houston Rangers Military basketball team on October 16th at 4 pm. The ABA home games are on the following dates all starting at 4 pm: Oct 23, Nov 6, Nov 20, Dec 4, Dec 18, Jan 8, Jan 22, Feb 12, Feb 19 and Mar 5. Tickets will be available for sale through www.TriCityAllStars.com shortly.

In closing, the Tri-City All-Stars would like to thank our loyal fans and the community for their continued support and encouragement.   We appreciate it and will continue to operate with integrity, respect, and professionalism because #AllStarsRiseAbove!
