Upcoming Meet
1/24/2021by Coach G

Afternoon TriCity, the "invites" are piling up (Columbia South Carolina, Jacksonville, Florida, Jackson, Mississippi, Atlanta, Georgia) all because our student athletes are blazing the tracks. I'm so proud that we are putting in the work that will ultimately be beneficial  when we go into these different states to compete. Our next one is a biggie "The Indoor National Championships 14 FEB 2021 in Birmingham, Al at the Crossplex (voted one of the "top 3" indoor facilities in the Nation, in fact the World Games will be there months from now. I would like "all" of the Striders to make an effort to start coming to our practice sessions, in order for us to repeat as National Campions (4years in a row) all of you can Help (moms included). Practice this week will be Tue, Wed, Thur 5:30-7:00pm at Lakebottom.

As you can see everyone did real well at the Wanda Lee Thomas Memorial meet and making their mark on the track world and displayed sound sportsmanship doing so. I'm also grateful for the parents that volunteered and made the sacrifice along with giving me the chance to coach your student athletes during these pandemic covid times, we have been blessed. Let's continue to do as the experts (medical) personnel have suggested, practice mask wear and social distance. As always I will continue to pray for anything that does "not" look like our Savior be bound up and kept from each of us.

Blessings

The first person to tell me the answer (in person) will be blessed with 20.00 American dollars

Who is the "first" American ever to do both the HJ and 400m in the same meet? And what colleges did they attend?
