Morning TriCity, been awhile since we last competed but the invitations are still coming in, also with so many of our student athletes competing at the middle/high school level (myself included, coaching that is) we will resume with our practice sessions on 29 March @ Central HS (2400 Dobbs Dr) in Phenix City, Al. So in the meantime please start your hydration, core workout, breathing exercises and your mental preparation to once again compete against some of the top student athletes across this Nation.
Core workouts for all student athletes /master division (mommas)
planks(hold for 15 sec, 10 each),plank to dolphin (6 sets of 20 reps), v-ups(jackknife)(6 sets of 20 reps), jump roping(6 sets of 20 reps), push ups(6 sets of 20 reps), butterfly situps (6 sets of 20 reps) , fludder kicks(6 sets for 20 reps), 6 inches (6 sets for 20 reps) at least for 20minutes a day.
Also I highly encourage each of you to drink plenty of "water" only. Continue to safe guard yourselves from anything that "does not" look like Our Savior, do as you're told (by your parents, guardians, educators). Once you receive this email, please let me know that you are in receipt by either calling or texting. We are still in the middle of this pandemic so we will still comply with the necessary guidelines when we come together later this month.
TriCity we have been granted permission to conduct our practice session at Central (Monday & Wednesday) on the track itself from 6-7:45 and will continue as long as we police up behind ourselves (not an issue) and on Tue & Thur up on the hill behind the ROTC bldg. "WE WILL"stay in compliance (no exceptions).
