9/30/2018by GR Chrisitan

The Grand Rapids Christian Eagles went to Thornapple-Kellogg and defeated the undefeated Trojans Friday night 21-14.  It was an OK-GOLD Conference battle in the rain that went back and forth, until the Eagles got thier footing, and began rolling.

RB Thaddues Gamble had 2 scores on the ground behind his fast paced offensive line who began wearing down the TK defensive line as the game wore on. QB Eason Hardouin connected with Slot WR Tyler Koeman for a deep pass to get the scoring started and the Eagles rolling.

Defensively, Chirstian was able to stop the Trojan offense, which had been successful in getting TK to a 5-0 record this season. Davion Gillen and Nick Chirstians helped anchor a defense that limited Thornapple-Kellogg to 14 points, thier lowest point total on the season.

The Eagles are on the road again this week facing the South Chrisitain Sailors in a yearly rivalry game featuring both playoff berth and conference championship implications.
