Former Rebels Starting Strong

West Lincoln has been well represented this spring on the college diamond across North and South Carolina.

2013 graduate Cameron High, coming off a tough year of injuries, has earned his first 2 college wins of his career, at William Peace University. Cameron currently has 7 strikeouts in 10 innings pitched for the Pacers.

Chandler Jenkins, 2014 Rebel graduate, is as hot as anyone in the country.  A red shirt sophomore for the CVCC RedHawks, Chandler has 26 hits (7 doubles and 3 homeruns) in 14 games.  He has scored 16 runs and drove in 22 more while hitting .542 through the first 3 weeks of the season.  Most impressive is the fact that Chandler has a 1404% OPS.

Matt Bumgarner, one of two 2016 graduates playing their freshman year in college, has recorded his first college save at Montreat College.

Sam High, a freshman at Francis Marion University, has continued his All-State form of 2016.  Sam is currently 1-0 for the Patriots with a 0.52 ERA in 3 starts.  Sam has threw 17.1 innings and given up 16 hits while striking out 10.
