About The League

 

The Non Profit All Play Baseball Inc is dedicated to growing the game of baseball by giving players of all ages a chance to play this game consistently.  Providing a much needed fun outlet every week.

 

We raise money for baseball programs that are heavily underfunded.  We pay school districts and cities for the use of fields helping them raise money for expenses that come with their operations.

 

All Play Baseball Inc, DBA CA Baseball Empire started with CA Baseball Empire Adult League.  A league built for 18 and up that has built over 20 teams across Southern CA.  Giving hundreds of players a chance to play this game we all love.

 

We have big plans coming for the future as we branch out into working with kids and expanding to having more divisions for the adults.

League Rules:

 

18 and Up

 

Played on Sundays

 

Umps are pay as we go

 

Wood bat only (-3 drop) 

 

Metal Spikes

 

Games are played at 8, 11 and 2 for fields without lights and fields with lights are played at 8, 11, 2 and 5

 

Games are 9 innings or 3 hours

 

Mercy Rule- 15 after 5 and 10 after 7

 

Pinch Runners- A non runner must be announced at the beginning of each game.  Non runners can only be pinch ran for by the last out.

 

Substitutions- Once a pitcher is pulled from the game, they cannot re enter.  Hitters that are substituted for cannot come back into the lineup unless approved by opposing manager due to injury/etc.  A/B Rule, in the lineup hitters 8 and after can be alternated between 2 players in that spot of the lineup (example would be 1st time through the lineup the A batter will hit and the 2nd time the B batter will hit.)

 

Rosters-  Roster size cannot exceed 25 players per team. 

 

Changing Teams- Once a player is on a roster they cannot just change teams without being released by the manager or approval by league president.  Players are not officially on the roster unless they've played a game with that team.

 

Trades- Understanding that not everyone will get along all the time trades can happen but must be approved by the league before becoming final.

 

Multiple teams- Players cannot play for more than one team in the same division, if you want to fill in for a team in another division it is ok.  Please get approval from your manager before you do.

 

Ringers- ABSOLUTELY NO PAYING PLAYERS TO PLAY FOR YOUR TEAM!

 

Pros- Pros are as welcome as amateurs in this league.  However, a pro cannot play in a beginner level and must play in MAJORS.

 

Conduct Policy- There is no drinking, smoking, vaping chewing or fighting on or around league affiliated fields. Fields, dugouts and parking lots are to be left as clean as they were when we arrived. Failure to adhere to the league conduct policy can result in an immediate ban/removal from the league without refund after investigation into situations by league President.

There are no refunds of any kind, fees go towards reservations (booked in advance), game balls, insurance, and other administrative costs.
