This page is dedicated to the Junior High (Jr. Lady Jackets) softball team, which is a part of the Athletics program at New Athens School District #60, located in New Athens, IL.  New Athens is located on the Kaskaskia River in Southern Illinois, approximately 35 miles southeast of St. Louis, MO. 

The Junior High School season begins around the first week of August each year and runs until the first week of October.   All games and practices are listed on this website as well as Team announcements.  The website is updated actively during the season, so be sure to check back often to see the latest results and announcements.  We strive to be a competive team and focus on building up our program to prepare players to be successfully.

Please come out and support our teams.  We have a great facility with a fantastic Concession Stand which is operated by the parents of the Jr. Hight Softball Team.   All the money the concession stand makes is put back into the New Athens Jr. High Softball program, so please grab a bite to eat and/or drink and enjoy watching our team play some competitive softball.
