Mission Statement

The Jill (McInnis) Button “Jilly17” Memorial Fund was established in 2023 in memory and honor of Jill Christine (McInnis) Button, a loving mother of Tenley(7) and Cameron(5) Button, wife of David Button, daughter, sister, niece, cousin, friend, leader in the workplace, and a warrior in her battle with cancer. The goal of the Jilly17 memorial is to keep Jill’s spirit alive and lead by her example.

The fund seeks to pay tribute to Jill’s giving and loving spirit. She always made everyone feel so special and we want to share that with the world. To this end, the fund supports these missions by:

• Raising funds to support innovative research into discovery of a cure for Ewing’s Sarcoma
• Raising funds to provide support to families battling cancer
• Funding scholarships
• Overall providing support to those in need

The Jill (McInnis) Button “Jilly17” Memorial Fund strives to make a real difference in the lives of those affected by cancer and represent hope for a better future. While our primary mission will be giving, we also retain our intention to provide a vehicle for family and friends to gather and reminisce as we provide for others. The measure of our success will be measured by our continued support of those in need.
