The KC Peppers enter their ninth season of competitive softball in the Fall of 2016 poised to continue the Peppers tradition of success. The focus of the Peppers-Wallace is regional and national showcase events as well as regional gold/premier qualifiers and nationals. The team has secured prestigous tournament invites including:

2013 brought opportunity and change as the KC Blaze joined Dan Eakin's storied KC Peppers organization (http://www.eteamz.com/kcpeppers). The decision was made in August to become part of the organization that spans 30+ years of history and tradition. Coach Eakin's coaching resume' spans 30 years, 28 of which coaching the KC Peppers GOLD. During this time 100+ young ladies that have played for the Peppers GOLD have continued their softball careers at the college level.
KC Blaze Tradition
The Blaze are proud of their accomplishments over five years, most importantly the development of the young ladies softball skills, providing a positive/winning environment and providing a enjoyable group for parents and families. Some of the Blaze accomplishments over five years:

- Triple Crown College World Series 'Grand Slam Bracket' Champion in 2011

- Placed in the Top 15 in National/World Series play each year
The KC Blaze completed its inaugural season in 2008-09 on a high note finishing 5th at the USSSA World Series. The Blazed concluded the year with an overall record of 66-14 (.825 winning percentage). The 10U team was formed from players with previous fast pitch experience, including State and World Series experience in '07-'08, and dedicated coaches. Coaches are former collegiate baseball and softball players with 10+ years of adult fastpitch experience and also have girls' fastpitch coaching experience.
As a 1st year 12U team the Blaze experienced tremendous success during the 2009-10 campaign, which includes five top three finishes and the OGSA 12U league championship. As a national qualifier the Blaze accomplished a Top 17 finish in the 12U 'B' World Series and Top 9 finish in the 11U World Series. The Blaze concluded the year with an overall record of 63-23.
The momentum continued in 2010-11 as a 2nd year 12U 'A' team as the team continued their success, which included six tournament championships (includes 12U and 14U) and placed in eight of 13 tournaments. As a national qualifier the Blaze finished in the Top 7 in the 12U 'A' World Series. The Blaze finished the year with an overall tournament record of 61-14.
Stepping up to 14U and 16U competition as a 1st year 14 was the next challenge in 2011-12. The Blaze experienced success with one tournament championship, two runner-up finishes and two third-place finishes. As a national qualifer the Blaze finished in the Top 13 in the 13U USSSA World Series.
The Peppers are based in the Johnson County/Overland Park/Olathe area with players from other parts of the metro as well. We will play at multiple locations throughout KC Metro area, midwest and beyond.
Philosophy: Develop young ladies into championship caliber softball players while maintaining a balance to allow them to pursue and enjoy other sports/activities.
