North Wake Men’s Baseball League

With the goal of bringing together two common passions -recreation and our nation’s past time- the North Wake Men’s Baseball League (“NWMBL / the league”) was established in 2011 as a community centered wood-bat only baseball league for men thirty years of age and older.   Its primary goal is to provide a venue for anyone who loves baseball regardless of skill, to play within a formal setting.

NWMBL has established a few key principals as its foundation.  These are:

1. Provide a locally based, non-travel alternative for men who desire to remain active in the sport of baseball without the time commitments and travel constraints of other leagues.
2. Promote friendly competition amongst NWMBL teams and similarly structured leagues within our region for men of any and every skill level.
3. Provide an alternative to the casual softball leagues that dominate existing adult recreational options.
4. Creation of a safe and friendly venue for league members, families and guests, promoting better citizenship through sport, team work and camaraderie.
5. Positively contribute to the diversity and moral character of our citizens.
6. Establish a legitimate networking platform contributing to professional development off the field.
