N.Y.C. Finest Basketball Academy, Inc. - A Non-Profit 501 C 3 Organization.

 

The purpose (s) for which this academy was formed and incorporated is to endeavor the following:

 

1. Create, form and maintain a basketball program to benefit youth in the N.Y.C. area.

 

2. Build confidence and self-esteem through the sport of basketball

 

3. Strive and attempt to inculcate in such people a sense of responsibility to themselves and others.

 

4. Use the sport of basketball as a medium to develop and improve the spiritual, mental, social and physical conditions of the participants therein.

 

5. Build leaders, quality citizens and to improve the level of success of youth in the New York City area.

 

6. Provide leadership guidance, training and workshops as well as continuous life learning skills.

 

7. Hold, organize, sponsor and conduct basketball classes, sessions, instruction, training and competitive events.

 

8. Increase, enhance, stimulate and encourage interest and awareness in the sport of basketball among all youth.

 

9. Affiliate such association with other similarly constituted clubs, leagues, associations and organizations.

 

10. Promote and provide social and athletic recreation for its members.

 

11. Develop those characteristics of honesty, good fellowship, self-discipline, team play, fairness and self-reliance among young people.

 

12. Promote, foster and encourage interest in the sport of basketball, athletics and physical exercise and generally to endeavor to improve the health, social, mental and physical welfare of the members of this academy through the sport of basketball.
