Sabercat Hockey Program Mission Statement
Welcome to the Sabercat Hockey Program website. We are very excited to continue our growth this season and will offer several competitive teams. The Sabercat Hockey Program (SHP) is a non-profit, 501(C) (3) corporation. SHP has affiliation agreements with the Colorado Prep Hockey League (CPHL), Colorado Amateur Hockey Association (CAHA), and USA Hockey. In addition, SHP is the prime supporter of the Douglas County School District (DCSD) Colorado High School Athletic Association (CHSAA) Team.
The Sabercat Hockey Program will strive to provide a positive, meaningful, player development environment that supports fair play and good sportsmanship. Our emphasis is centered on family, education, self-esteem, teamwork, and personal integrity for our players, coaches and all family members. Hockey is a sport filled with life lessons. A priority in the Program is to teach and support the development of our players to become better people in the community. It is the goal of all to work together to create this environment.
