SCC SWAT Fastpitch Softball Organization is Southern Chester County's premier fastpitch travel organization. The Chester County Travel Softball organization develops well-rounded, team-oriented players who excel at the highest levels of competition. SWAT Fastpitch organization's driving philosophy is to maximize the development of the player's skills (both individual and team) by providing a year round training program with outdoor and indoor practice facilities. We combine this with promoting a positive attitude in all situations--in victory and defeat--both on and off the field. We are humble in our victories and accept our losses with dignity--we teach that a positive attitude is the best approach for everything in life

 

SCC SWAT Fastpitch Softball Organization has been formed to provide a platform for those players that are committed to enhancing their softball skills through hard work, academic achievement and sportsmanship. We are dedicated to the promotion of fast pitch softball in the Chester County area. We strive to create an environment for young ladies to learn confidence, and integrity to compete through softball. Primarily based in Southern Chester County area we welcome all area softball players who have a desire to be the best they can be, want to practice and play hard, are strong team players and who have a goal of playing competitive softball.

 

The goal of the SWAT Fastpitch Softball Organization is to provide an opportunity for our athletes to compete while protecting the integrity of local in-house associations.  S.W.A.T. has earned a solid reputation for being competitive and respectful both on and off the field.

To develop young women's strength and confidence in all aspects of life through teamwork, commitment, dedication, and competitive softball.

 

SWAT Fastpitch recognizes that young women benefit personally and academically from organized and competitive athletic endeavors, and that the playing fields provide opportunities for successful development of the character and qualities that students need to continue to the next level, in school and in life.

 

Our goal is to significantly improve the overall quality of girls' fastpitch softball in Chester County especially Southern Chester County. Through competition at the elite levels, our girls will improve their softball skills to their fullest potential. The organization's focus is to foster a competitive learning environment that will prepare our players to succeed at the tournament level, Little League level, high school level, and beyond

 

Travel softball is an experience that fosters family values, team spirit, hard work and friendship. Travel softball is a commitment not just from the young ladies wanting to play competitive fastpitch softball but also from their families both financially and time wise.

 

There’s a financial cost for travel softball: usage fees for fields and indoor facilities, tournament fees, uniforms, helmets, gear, equipment, balls, pitching machines, nets, training tools, etc. that are paid for by the organization in the form of dues. The organization will hold fundraisers and seek sponsors to help offset the cost of playing competitive travel softball throughout the season.

 

The local travel softball teams will be Little League and school ball friendly accommodating young ladies that want to play on more than one team. Travel softball is an opportunity for young ladies to participate in softball at a competitive level of play that is not available locally. The travel softball organization is not affiliated with any local Little Leagues but will work with local Little League organizations so that young ladies can play both travel softball and Little League. The travel softball organization will not compete with Little League for players. Instead, the travel softball teams will be an opportunity for young ladies who want too play softball in a competitive environment in addition to playing in Little League.
