TRICITY STRIDERS YOUTH TRACK & FIELD TEAM, RUNNING UNDER THE UMBRELLA OF TFCUSA, USATF, & AAU, CAME INTO EXISTENCE TO PROVIDE A POSITIVE OUTLET FOR ATHLETES TO ENHANCE THEIR SELF CONFIDENCE, MOTOR SKILLS, HAVE RESPECT FOR AUTHORITY,  ENGAGE THEIR MINDS TO THINK OUTSIDE THE NORMAL, BECOME BETTER STUDENTS, BE COMPETITIVE, & HAVE FUN. TO REMOVE THE "UNDERPRIVILEGED LABEL" TO BEING BLESSED AND PRIVILEGE, REGARDLESS OF THEIR ECONOMIC STATUS, RECOGNIZING THEY TOO HAVE A GIFT.

 

OUR VOLUNTEER COACHES AND STAFF CONTRIBUTE OVER 2000 HOURS A YEAR ENSURING THAT NO CHILD/ATHLETE IS LEFT BEHIND BY MENTORING AND TEACHING THE FUNDAMENTALS OF TEAMWORK, SPORTSMANSHIP, AND CHALLENGING THEM TO BE PRODUCTIVE BOTH ON THE PLAYING FIELDS AND IN THE CLASSROOM.  OUR GOAL IS TO HAVE EVERY ATHLETE SIGN TO A UNIVERSITY (FULL RIDE), SPRING BOARDING THEM INTO WHATEVER PROFESSION THAT THEY DESIRE.

For and in consideration of (TriCity Striders Elite, Youth Track & Field) allowing me, the registrant, to participate in the assigned /posted track meets during the season sanctioned under 3 associations TFCUSA, AAU, USATF “I” am registering for herein (the age appropriate Event or Events), for myself, and on behalf of my guardians, parents any legal and personal representatives, administrators pursuant to this Waiver & Release of Liability, Assumption of Risk and Indemnity Agreement.

 

I agree to follow the rules and abide by the regulations including but not limited to competition rules along with the rule of TriCity Striders Elite and doing what’s told to avoid any unnecessary injuries (being properly prepared, hydrated, on a daily basis) Absolutely “No Horse-playing, Grab Butt”, inappropriate touching by “anyone”/ prepping to do anything unethical be it gender base, same sex or otherwise.

 

As a condition of this waiver/my participation I fully understand that my insurance is primary to that of TriCity Striders Elite as long as the authorized meets and practice sessions are conducted on an authorized venue and conducted in an organized manner.

 

I hereby warrant that I (or the Guardian, if I am under the age of 18) am of legal age and competent to enter into this Agreement, that I have read this Agreement carefully, understands, comprehend its terms and conditions, and that this waiver serve as confirmation of my complete and unconditional acceptance of the terms to participate as a student athlete with TriCity Striders Elite Youth Track & Field.

 

The Guardian acknowledges that the Guardian will indemnify the Released Parties from any and all Liability which may arise out of, result from, or relate in any way to the student athletes participation in the event (s) except to the extent caused by the gross negligence and /or willful misconduct of any of the released parties (certified officials, administrators, coaches, coaches assistants, mentors).
