Dear Coaches
Thank you for your past participation in the Westchester Putnam Baseball Association.
As you are aware, the WPBA is the premier all-star baseball organization, made up of approximately 40 different New York & Connecticut towns located in Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Dutchess & Fairfield Counties. Games are held on high quality regulation town fields throughout our area.
For the past 21 years the WPBA has successfully provided tens of thousands of travel players with a comprehensive career, from the age of 9 to 23, and towns with an organized and highly competitive travel baseball program for the spring, summer and fall seasons.
Coaches, parents and players appreciate the quality, fairness of play, structure, codes of conduct and published rules that participation in the WPBA provides. They have told us that they are proud of their accomplishments and have fond memories of their rewarding experiences in games and tournaments. Their ongoing support and commitment demonstrate the strength and continuity of the WPBA, as second to none.
Our plans for 2016 are to continue this tradition of established Town oriented team participation that insures high quality competitive baseball on a level playing field, for U8 through U19.
We are sending you this message because there are always changes in the administration of town baseball programs. If that has happened in your area and you are no longer involved, we ask that you pass this information on to your town’s travel baseball programs administrators.
We are proud of our openness in the interest of fair play and full details about us, schedules, rules, umpires, costs are on our robust and comprehensive website, WPBABASEBALL.COM. Full Team Registration Forms and Schedules are on the website. Our next meeting to set teams and schedules is on June 2 at Fox Lane High School.
I welcome any comments or questions and hope to see you participate in our programs.
See you on the fields!
WPBA
