The Lady Senators are #2 in the State for 2015!  Great job, ladies!  I has been a great season, and we look forward to 2016!

The Lady Senators play Theodore in the first pairing of the Alabama State Tournament Wednesday, May 13th.  Play will continue through Thursday.  Go Lady Senators!
 
 

 

The Lady Senators enjoyed a Steak Dinner Saturday for making the State Tournament.  Thanks to Andy Stoker and "helpers" for a great meal!

The Lady Senators defeated Grissom 9-1 and Buckhorn 6-3 to take first place in the North Region!  We will be playing for a possible 4th straight State Championship in Montgomery next week!  Way To Go, Ladies!  #203 #roadtostate 
 

 

Sparkman Lady Senators win the 7A Area 8 Championship and move on to Regionals this week!  The Lady Senators won three games in a row to take the championship, defeating Hazel Green once and James Clemens twice!  Great job Ladies!  #203  #roadtostate

 

 

 

Sparkman celebrated our 2015 Seniors Monday night, 4/27 with an exhibition scrimmage game and Senior Night activities.  What a great group of ladies!  The Scrimmage ended with a score of 3-3.

 

 

 

 

Congratulations to Alexis Fletcher, one of our Seniors, on her signing with The University of Mobile today for Basketball!  The girls celebrated this exciting event with her Monday, 4/27!

 

 

The Bracket has been set for the Area tournament on April 30 - May 1.  We will be hosting the tournament at Sparkman, and our first game will be Thursday, 4/30 at 6:00PM against Hazel Green.  Bracket is here.

 

 

The Varsity Lady Senators had another good showing this weekend in the 2015 Northwest Alabama Bash (Florence Tournament).  They went 3-1 for the tournament, the only loss to Muscle Shoals by a score of 2-1.  Sparkman only allowed 3 runs the entire tournament while scoring 23 runs.  Way to go, Ladies!

 

 

We had a great turnout for the 2015 Lady Senators Cancer Awareness Day on April 14!  The girls played in honor/memory of their friends and family with cancer, and raised $480 to donate towards the fight against Cancer.

 

 

 

 

 

Come out Tuesday, 4/14, to support the Lady Senators as they play in the 2015 Cancer Awarness Games against Bob Jones.  

 

 

 

Congratulations to the JV lady Senators!  They went 6-0-1 to win the Pisgah tournament!  Great job, Lady Senators!

After a great 4-game run in Gulf Shores, the Varsity Lady Senators were put out of the tournament Tuesday afternoon by Colbert Heights in a 7-5 loss.  Great showing, Ladies!

Sparkman Softball ranked #2 in the first Alabama Sports Writers Association rankings of the season!  Go Lady Senators!

 

 

 

The Varsity Lady Senators won at Huntsville High 8-4 yesterday on a wet Monday afternoon yesterday (March 9th).

The JV Lady Senators tied Huntsville High 2-2 when the game was called after the 3rd inning due to rain and poor field conditions.

 

 

The Lady Senators had a good showing at the 2015 Auburn Invitational.

Varsity record was 2-2 for the tournament.

JV record was 3-1, tying for 3rd place.

 

 

 

The Varsity Lady Senators came in 2nd in the 2015 Patriot Classic in Tuscaloosa this weekend, losing 4-2 to Hewitt-Trussville in the Championship Game!  Great showing girls!
