Sparkman celebrated Senior Night against Athens Monday. We had a great turnout to honor our three seniors: Paige Bannerman, Demarie Corley, and Bailey Mayes. Congratulations on a great Softball career at Sparkman, and best wishes for your futures!

The Lady Senators won 5-4 (Varsity) and 14-3 (JV) over Florence tonight at the SHS Cancer Awareness Game. Both teams honored their loved ones who have faced cancer. There was a great ceremony between games where each team member recognized her loved ones that were impacted.

The Lady Senators travel to Buckhorn tomorrow (Thursday) to take on the Lady Bucks. We have lost to them in tournament play but we plan to bring home the big win on their home turf. Varsity plays at 4:30 followed immediately by JV.

Both Varsity and JV defeated Bob Jones at Bob Jones yesterday 11-0. Both teams played well and kept the Lady Patriots from scoring a single run. Keep up the great work, Ladies!

The Lady Senators defeated Hazel Green at home today, with the Varsity winning 13-0 and the JV winning 6-1! Go Lady Senators!
Also note that the JV Tournament at Pisgah this weekend HAS BEEN CANCELED. The next games will be Monday at Scottsboro.

The Varsity Lady Senators run-ruled Bob Jones 10-0 in the 5th inning Tuesday night but fell to James Clemens 3-1 at home Wednesday night. With the games at Florence getting rained out yesterday, the next Varsity game will take place Monday at Athens.
The still-undefeated JV Lady Senators run-ruled Bob Jones 10-0 in the 5th at home Tuesday night and defeated James Clemens 14-7 Wednesday night.
Sparkman JV plays in this weekend's Sparkman JV/Henry Vaughn Middle School Tournament at the Huntsville Sportsplex. We play today at 4:00 against Pisgah, tonight at 5:45 against Waverly, and at 8:00 Saturday morning against Grissom. Come out and support these ladies this weekend! Go Lady Senators!

The Varsity Lady Senators went 3-0-1 in Pool Play at the Beach last week and won their first Bracket game. They were put out of the tournament in the second Bracket game, losing 4-5 to Tuscaloosa County after a tough game.
Come out tomorrow (Tuesday) to support the Lady Senators at home against Bob Jones. JV plays at 4:30 and Varsity plays at 6:00. Go Lady Senators!

Congratulations to the Varsity Lady Senators on their First Place Trophy in this weekend's Patriot Classic tournament in Tuscaloosa! After a pool play loss to TCHS Friday evening, these girls came back and won 5 games back-to-back Saturday to win the Championship over Marbury! Great job, Ladies!

Congratulations to the JV Lady Senators on taking first place in the 2016 Hazel Green Trojan Classic! They played great and pulled off some big wins!
The Varsity Lady Senators also had a great tournament, but lost 7-3 to Buckhorn in the Championship game after defeating James Clemens and Lawrence County. These ladies are off to an excellent start to the season!

What a way to start the season! The Varsity Lady Senators defeated Huntsville 17-2 after 3 innings, scoring 12 runs in the first! The JV Lady Senators defeated Huntsville JV 15-1 immediately afterwards! Both of these teams came out swinging and didn't let up. Keep up the great work, Ladies! We will see you tonight in Huntsville!
