The 2017 Lady Senators lost to Buckhorn in the 2017 Championship Game to take 2nd Place. The Lady Senators had a great season and fought hard to make their mark this year. Great job by everyone, and we'll bring home #1 next year!

Senators Area Champs after Second Win over Buckhorn
Your Lady Senators defeated Buckhorn in the second day of Area Play to take the #1 position in Area 8 with Buckhorn progressing to regionals as #2!
Your Lady Senators went undefeated in the Area 8 tournament yesterday and today, defeating Bob Jones once and Buckhorn twice. Keep up the momentum going to Regionals next week, Ladies!
The Lady Senators advance to Regionals next Thursday and Friday. Schedule will be posted when it is received.

Senators Clinch Spot in Regionals with Win over Buckhorn
Your Lady Senators defeated Bob Jones in Game 2 of the Area 8 Tournament and battled Buckhorn through 9 grueling innings in game 3 to clinch a spot in regionals with the win!
Tournament play resumes this morning at 10:00 as Bob Jones faces James Clemens to see who will fight their way to the second spot at regionals.
Your Lady Senators face their next opponent at 2:00 PM Today. Full bracket is below. NOTE THAT TIMES FOR TODAY ARE ALL PULLED TWO HOURS FORWARD FROM THE BRACKET LISTED BELOW.

2017 Area Tournament
Starts Tuesday, May 2
Due to weather concerns later in the week, the 7A Area 8 tournament has been pulled forward with the first game between #3 JC and #2 Buckhorn starting at 2:00 PM Tuesday.
Your #1 Lady Senators face off against #4 Bob Jones Tuesday at 4:00 PM. Full bracket is below:

Senators Defeat James Clemons on JC Turf!
Your Varsity Lady Senators defeated James Clemons at JC 3-1 after a tough game. The JV went one to defeat JC 6-3. These ladies are on a roll!

Senators Defeat Buckhorn At Home!
Your Lady Senators defeated Buckhorn at home Tuesday. Varsity won 3-2 after a tough game and JV won 6-1.
Sparkman Softball honored our Military Veterans before the Varsity game, and we had a great turn-out.
Join us Thursday at JC as the Lady Senators take on the Jets! Varsity at 5:00 PM and JV at 6:30.
Our Varsity Lady Senators will be playing at the Huntsville Sportsplex in the Sparkman Varsity Tournament.

Senators Defeat Florence At Home!
Your Lady Senators defeated Florence at home Thursday. Varsity won 12-3 and JV won 12-0. It was a great night celebrating and honoring our "Special Friends!"
Both teams will be playing over the next several days.
Varsity will be traveling to Gulf Shores to play in the Gulf Shores Classic Monday through Wednesday of Spring Break.
JV travels to Buckhorn this afternoon to play in this weekend's Lady Bucks JV Bash.

Senators Defeat Hoover
in Home Opener!
Your Lady Senators defeated Hoover in their home opener this week! Varsity won 11-6 and the JV shut out Hoover with a score of 17-0.
The Varsity Lady Senators play this weekend in the Hillcrest Patriot Classic in Tuscaloosa. The JV Lady Senators will be playing in the Hazel Green Trojan Classic at the Sportsplex.

2016 State Champions to be Honored in Tuscaloosa!
The 2016 Lady Senators State Champions will be honored at the National Pro Fastpitch Championship Series Friday, August 19 before the 5:00PM game!
The girls will need to be at Rhoads Stadium by 4:00PM to get ready. GO LADY SENATORS!
