I had a torn lace in my A2000 and I was able to drop it off to him and he returned it looking brand new the very next day for a great price. I was fortunate enough to get to speak with him for a bit and it is incredible how knowledgeable and passionate he is about his work. I highly recommend A1 Glove Repair!

Gordon is one of a kind. I truly believe there's no one out there with the knowledge and expertise he possesses. He did an amazing job re-lacing and repairing my son's catcher's mitt. The services he offers are one of a kind and I would recommend him for anything glove related. Repairing or buying new. I won't buy another glove without his guidance.

I have had my own personal gloves and the gloves of my two kids worked on by A1. In every instance, Gordon has been informative, helpful and very skillful. Thanks for doing such an outstanding job on my glove, a Wilson A2000 XLC. As I told you, I've had this glove for almost 50 years although I have not used it in 20 years or so. I joined an over 65 softball league this year and realized I needed my glove restrung as the rawhide lacings were either broken or very weak. A teammate recommended you and I am so grateful that he did ! The restringing and re-conditioning of the glove were excellent. It almost looks and feels brand-new! I also appreciate the small bottle of your proprietary leather conditioner, gratis, to keep my glove soft and pliable going forward. Thanks again. I would recommend your services to any and all.

Words cannot express how happy I am with A1 Glove Repair!!! We had a glove that had a broken lace and needed the plastic inserts removed during the middle of baseball season. Gordon turned our glove around in 24 hours, and no games or even practice were missed. My son loved his glove prior to taking it to Gordon. He now loves it even more. There is no one, or no place to take a glove except A1 Glove Repair!

My daughter was in midseason and her catcher's mitt string broke in the webbing, potentially allowing a ball to sneak through. The glove was two years old, and perfectly broke in. So we really didn't want to have to spend the money for another one and try to get it broke in midseason. We had never had gloves repaired before. We have been so programmed to go to Dicks for almost everything, I never considered it honestly. So I googled glove repair and found A1 Glove Repair. What a lucky find for us. Gordon is amazing at what he does, which is almost any kind of glove work you can think of.
He restrung my daughter's catcher's mitt with his own leather straps that he cuts which are high quality and stronger than the factory strings. Her glove is stronger than it was new. He also added another strap that helps the glove fit her hand better, with easier adjustment. I was a little nervous that this might cost almost as much as a new glove. Not even close. And she gets to keep her nice broken in glove with a stronger web.

I had heard of Gordon, but never needed his services until this year. The string on my daughter's glove broke exactly one day before HS tryouts. She was terrified as she was told by friends it would take a week to fix. I called Gordon and he invited me to his home to fix the glove for a very reasonable rate. I had a happy daughter and a glove that is catching most balls lol.

I had issues with both of my son's catchers gloves. The pocket of the glove separated from the string so I contacted Rawlings who gave me Gordon‘s phone number. After speaking with Gordon I sent both gloves out to him. He was able to fix them and make them stronger than they were from the factory. He broke them in as well, and returned them with a quick response.
After receiving them my son's went out and used them, and said they are better than they were before they were repaired. I would highly recommend Gordon to fix your gloves if need be.

I was having a hard time finding somewhere to get my son's glove repaired, when I came across A1 Glove Repair online. Mr. King responded to my online request for information very quickly. He made it very convenient to schedule a time to drop the glove off and I was able to have the glove repaired within a week. He even did more than I had requested at no extra charge because he did not want the glove to break again.

I had Gordon King of A1 Glove Repair work on a rare circa 1939 D&M Johnny Vander Meer store model glove for me. He was tasked with restoring the missing lace webbing in the glove as well as anything else that he thought would be useful. I must tell you that the final result was unbelievable! I'm very happy with how the glove turned out.
Gordon cut the leather laces himself and dyed them so that they looked age appropriate. Additionally, he replaced all of the other glove lacing so that everything matched perfectly. Next, he conditioned the glove with his proprietary glove oil which is petroleum free. He restored the glove to the point that the leather is now soft and subtle.
Gordon provides a unique service and is a passionate about what he does.
Please give strong consideration to using him if your glove needs some TLC or repair.

I used A1 Glove Repair to re-string my glove. When I got it back, it was better than when it was new. My Mom and Dad have had their gloves repaired by A1 too. I am a 15 year old recreational softball player.
Mr. King was very knowledgeable and very easy to work with. He was also able to turn the glove around quickly so that I could use it at a tournament.
