Factory Basketball Championship trophy photoFactory Basketball's Origins

Factory Basketball girls travel basketball club began with one 8th grade girls basketball team back in 2013.  We played the winter/spring season as the Western Wayne Wolfpack Black team, which won almost all of our tournaments before finishing 3rd in the MI AAU State Championship.  After that tournament, we decided to start Factory Basketball with just 8 basketball players.

Factory Basketball won their very first 8th grade girls basketball tournament going 3-0.  This is from our first tournament way back in fall of 2013.  We followed that up by going 4-0 the next weekend to win another championship.  In fact we began our season going 11-0 collecting a lot of trophies.  Here is another early photo.

2019

We tried something new in 2019 and for the first time ever, created a team comprised of our top players regardless of age, and took them down to the National Championship in Atlanta.  Our girls Competed as Factory Orange Elite in the 2020 Division.

2021:

Covid-19 made this season extremely difficult, but we managed to have a very productive year with 8 teams.  We had to travel to Indiana for most of our events, but our girls stayed safe and we played some very good basketball.

Our class of 2022 team played the top competition in the region if not country all season long and were competitive in almost every game.  8 of the 9 girls will be playing college basketball, and the 9th will be rowing at the D1 level.

Our 2022 Orange and  2023 Orange teams both won Bronze Championships in the upper division of Run 4 Roses playing some extremely high talent.  The 2023 Orange also played in 2 other championship games in the top division of two other top events showing that they can compete with anyone.

2022:

Our 2023 Orange team will be building on the success they had the last two years and will be making decisions themselves of where they will be playing at the next level.
