LEAGUE FORMAT
Regular Season
A. All regular season games will be played at Myers Park. On the schedule, the home team is listed last.
B. All regular season weekday doubleheader games will have time limits. No inning can be started after 1 hour 40 minutes from the official start time of the game.
C. Time starting and ending a game is an important responsibility and must be kept by the head umpire officially and responsibly.
D. A team will forfeit if they have less than 7 players to start the game. A team starting with eight (8) players will have an out each time an empty position comes to bat unless both coaches agree otherwise. A coach can set up his roster as he sees fit including the open slots.
E. Official game — at the end of the time regardless of the number of innings played.
F. All double-header games will begin immediately following the first game of the evening.
G. Visiting teams in the 1st game must be on and off the field by 5:50 p.m. for double header games and by 6:15 p.m. for single games. The head umpire will be at the field at least 15 minutes prior to the start time of the game, and it will be his duty to ensure that the game begins at the scheduled time.
H. Rainouts will be rescheduled by the coaches and the President in conjunction with the umpires, at the earliest possible date, preferably the following Saturday following the rainout. In the event that rained out games cannot be made up, seedings for the tournament shall be determined on a win/loss percentage. Should teams have an identical percentage, then the run difference between the teams shall control, with the team having the least runs scored against it in all head-to-head competition being seeded higher.
I. Harassment of umpires by players, coaches or parents is unacceptable conduct.
