PacRim Sports League Rules

All participating players will be responsible for their own medical insurance. PacRim Corporation and its owners are not liable for any injuries on the basketball courts or around the premises.
- All players must read and sign roster sheets before being allowed to participate in any games.
- Players need to be at least 1/2 Asian to be considered Asian. Visit FIBA Asia to see what country is considered Asian.
- Each team is limited to twelve (12) players per team. Awards are limited to only ten (10) players per team.
- League officials have the right to place a team in a lower or higher division than what the team originally applied for.
- Players on the roster must play in a minimum of three (3) regular season games to be eligible to participate in the playoffs.
- All team members must wear identical uniforms with numbers. Any players without a uniform will not be allowed to play. Each player without a number on his uniform will receive a technical foul. Technical fouls for uniform violation does not count as a personal foul or team foul.
- Game fees must be paid in full prior to each game ($40).
- Game time is two 20-minute halves running time. Clock will stop the last two minutes of the second half on all dead balls. If there is a 10 or more point difference between teams, the clock will NOT stop.
- A ten (10) minute grace period will be allowed on a team to show up for their scheduled game time. After grace period has expired, game is considered a forfeit and the team’s forfeit bond ($80) will be lost. No exceptions!!! Scorekeeper will determine which clock to go by.
- Each team must have 4 players to start. Player coming late may play if their name is already in the scorebook. If the team with players does not have 5 players by the start of the second half, that team will forfeit and pay $80 forfeit fee.
- Jump ball will start the game. Two 20 minute halves with a 30 second shot clock (ONLY BY REQUEST). Possession rule in effect.
- Each team is allowed three (3) time-outs per game. Each team will be allowed only one (1) time-out per overtime period; all other time-outs will be lost.
- Each player is allowed 5 personal fouls. Technical fouls count as personal fouls. Any players/coaches receiving two (2) technical fouls is an automatic ejection from the game and a one day suspension.
- Any player committing a Flagrant foul as determined by the referees, will result in two (2) free throws and the opposing team maintains possession of the ball.
- Fighting will result in automatic ejection of players involved. In addition, all players involved in a fight will be banned from the league; NO EXCEPTIONS. The league committee will review all incidences. Players will only be reinstated with approval of league officials.
- Technical fouls count as personal and team foul.
- Teams will be in the bonus after six (6) team fouls, after ten (10) team fouls the team will be awarded two (2) free throws.
- Substitutes must report to scorer’s table and wait to be called into the game by officials. Walking onto the court before being called in will result in a technical foul on that player.
- Protest must be filed in writing within 24 hours of incident and must have a direct bearing on the outcome of the game. They must be based on an alleged misinterpretation of the rules - Judgment may not be protested.
- Shooting behind the three (3) point line will be awarded three (3) points. If fouled, he will be awarded with three (3) free throws.
- Overtime is two (2) minutes, stop clock is the last minute. Each team will have one (1) time-out in overtime with no carryover. Double overtime will be sudden death, team that scores the first point wins the game.
- No jewelry will be allowed while playing. Anyone playing jewelry will receive a technical foul.
- Free Throw – The ball is in play once the person at the free throw line releases the basketball (Old Rules).
- National High School Rules will govern all rules not covered.
- ID's may be verified for eligibility, bring ID to every game.
