Mission and Goals

 

Mission Statement:

 
The Southern Maryland Revolution Lacrosse Club is a nonprofit program being formed for girl lacrosse players interested in playing the best competition through tournament play.
 
The Club is for those players and families who:
  • Through demonstrating good sportsmanship and a commitment to learning will take their play to a higher level.
  • Want to become the very best as individuals and as a team.
  • Are serious about the game, yet want to have fun as well.

 Goals

  • Create a great environment for players to excel through quality players and supportive parents.
  • Field competitive teams with talented players willing to learn and improve.
  • Provide developing players and advanced understanding of the game through fundamentals, individual skills, and team concepts.
  • Teach the importance of good character on and off the field, good sportsmanship, and respect for other players, coaches and officials.
  •  Encourage players to play in multiple sports.  “In-season” sports take priority.
  • Make lifetime friendships with other players while playing the sport at its highest levels.
  • Have fun and develop a true appreciation for the game of lacrosse.
