WHAT TO EXPECT

Tryouts are designed to evaluate each athlete’s current abilities in a positive and competitive environment.

Players will be evaluated by experienced Tulsa Elite coaching staffs in areas such as:

• Running Speed
• Arm Strength
• Throwing Accuracy
• Defensive Skills
• Hitting
• Softball IQ
• Athleticism
• Hustle & Effort
• Coachability

Pitchers and catchers will also have the opportunity to demonstrate their position-specific skills.

Tryouts are evaluations, not instructional clinics. Our goal is to evaluate each athlete’s current abilities and determine the best fit for available roster opportunities.

AFTER THE TRYOUT

Following the tryout, coaching staffs meet to review player evaluations and discuss each team’s roster needs.

Within approximately one week, families may be contacted regarding one of the following:

• An invitation to join a Tulsa Elite team.
• An invitation to attend a second workout with returning players.
• Placement on a waiting list should future roster opportunities become available.

Once roster decisions are made, coaching staffs will review important information including:

• Team Philosophy
• Annual Schedule
• Tournament Schedule
• Team Expectations
• Estimated Team Expenses
• Fundraising Opportunities
• Uniform & Equipment Information
