FOD Team Mom Guidelines & Job Duties

 

Starting Things Off
Get a team contact sheet from the coach and coordinate with the coach any duties he/she may need your assistance with, such as:

• Team Communications
• Team Web info, web pages & Online Photo Albums
• Uniform Sizing, Pick-Up & Delivery, Handling any Exchanges
• First Aid kit and any other game day needs

Get all volunteers badged. ALL parents who would like to volunteer as a FOD team manager, assistant coach, team mom, or be on the field or in the dugout are required to go through the background check process to obtain a Creeks Athletic League issued Badge. Badges expire one year from issue date.

 

NOTE: ALL FOD TEAM MANAGERS, COACHES, ASSISTANTS, TRAINERS AND PARENTS THAT WILL BE WORKING WITH THE CHILDREN MUST COMPLETE A BACKGROUND CHECK THROUGH CREEKS ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION. THIS MUST BE DONE BY ALL NEW AND RETURNING JCB MANAGERS/COACHES/ASSISTANTS. THIS IS AN ANNUAL PROCESS WHICH IS REQUIRED BY CAA AND ST. JOHNS COUNTY.

Formation of Snack Schedule
It is recommended that you assign parents a date and let them switch with others if it does not agree with their schedule.

 

Help with Team Sponsorship
It is a requirement that all teams retain a team sponsor. Team moms are urged to assist the coach in coordinating efforts to secure a sponsor for your team and turning in appropriate forms. 

 

Distribution of All Material from FOD 
This includes, but is not limited to: 

• Picture orders
• Teams Sponsor Plaques
• Coaches evaluations

Wrapping It Up
Schedule end-of the season party, trophy awards & coordinate any coach thank you’s.
