
A 2009 graduate of West Lincoln HS and former All-State selection from West Lincoln High School, Trey chose to continue his athletic career at Tusculum College in Eastern Tennessee. Trey joins former Rebel Payden Houser as he becomes Pioneer. As a freshman, Trey... Played in 38 games, including 29 starts... Posted 26 starts in right field where the Pioneers went 17-9... Finished with 33 hits, including five doubles, a home run and 28 RBI... 18 runs scored... Struck out only six times in his 125 plate appearances... Eight multi-hit games, including three outings with three hits... Posted a six-game hitting streak from Apr. 12-21, going 10-for-21 (.476)... Went 3-for-3 against St. Andrews (Mar. 2) with three runs scored... Posted 3-for-5 performances at Carson-Newman (Mar. 5) and Catawba (Apr. 16)... Lone home run came at Catawba... Reached base safely in his last 14 games... Posted first collegiate hit against Pfeiffer (Feb. 5)... Recorded three outfield assists. As a sophomore, Trey played in 12 games, including 11 starts in right field in a season that was shortened due to injury... Batted .310 with 13 hits, eight runs scored and 15 RBI... Posted a six-game hitting streak from Feb. 4-18 (10-for-23, .435)... Went 3-for-5 with 5 RBI in road win at Wingate (Feb. 18)... Scored two runs each agianst Young Harris (Feb. 7) and Barton (Feb. 10)... Scored six runs in a four-game span (Feb. 4-10)... Recorded an outfield fielding assist in season-opener at St. Andrews (Feb. 3)... In his final game of the year, went 2-for-4 with three RBI against Carson-Newman (Feb. 25)... Did not commit an error in his 19 total fielding chances. As a junior, Trey was one of 3 position players to start in all 51 games. During this time he accumulated 59, including 14 doubles, 4 triples (team high), and 2 homeruns for 86 total bases. Trey also had 31 runs scored and 30 more runs driven in. As a senior Trey finished fourth on the team with his .316 batting average... Tied for the team lead with four triples... Second on the squad with 59 hits, including 13 doubles and two home runs... 30 RBI... Tied for second on the team with 17 multi-hit games and 10 multi-RBI outings... His 13-game hitting streak from Mar. 3-27 was tied for the longest on the team... Went 17-for-45 (.378) with four doubles, a triple and a home run... Preceded that with an eight-game hitting streak from Feb. 15-Mar. 2 where he went 11-for-29 (.379) with five RBI... From Feb. 15-Mar. 27, Drewery batted .368 (28-for-76)... Ended the season with a five-game hitting streak, going 9-for-20 (.450) with nine RBI, three doubles, one triple and a home run... He posted three hits on four occasions, including a 3-for-4 effort against Brevard as he finished with three RBI in the contest, including a double and a triple...
