When Needed

Press Box (Announcer, Timer, Spotter)

Announcer/Timer arrive 30 minutes before game to prep booth.  Announcer: Before game, check with coaches for game rosters. Announce welcome, introductions, key plays and substitutions.  Timer: Operate clock and scoreboard.   Spotter: Support announcer by identifying player # for substitutions, goals and goal assists, as well as other action on the field.

Gate/Tickets

Sell tickets and manage the gate. Arrive 30 minutes early.  Varsity volunteer works JVA game; JVA volunteer works Varsity game.

Concession Stand

Work the concession stand (arrive 30 minutes early).  Varsity volunteer works JVA game; JVA volunteer works Varsity game.

Pre-Game Meal Distribution

Two volunteers need to bring enough water for the teams, receive meal delivery in the Grotto area, or Commons (if raining), and distribute meals to players (be at the school around 2:30).

Game Carpool Drivers

Drive players to away games on school days.  In your signup, specify how many players you can transport.

Away games – school days only (JVA, B)

Memory Book

Photos

Take pictures for the team at each game for the memory book.  In addition to a dedicated game photographer – we want to receive submissions from fans who attended the game.

Upload all photos to.  Utilize the Photocircle App with your phone and use the links provided through TeamSnap to share and view photos.

Ball Boys/Girls Volunteers

For each home game - ball boys/girls are needed to retrieve balls during each game at home.  Each boy/girl volunteer will receive a hot dog, snack, & drink at halftime.  (May not be necessary every game as we have partnered with diocesan schools and clubs to staff some games, this will be denoted on SignUp Genius.)

Cooler of Gatorade/Powerade

Bring a cooler of Gatorade/Powerade to the game and place by the team bench at the start of the game.

All Games (Varsity, A, B)

Game Day Ref/Coach/Security Cooler

Bring a cooler of drinks (water/Gatorade/Powerade) – approximately 24 bottles to cover all games – for refs, coaches, security officers. Place near referee bench before the start of the first game of the day.

Out-of-Town Visiting Game Day Meal Distribution Volunteers

Two volunteers are needed to distribute the meals to the visiting team. Volunteers are needed for each of the following days to distribute the meals: vs. Dublin Coffman 8/19, vs. Marysville on 9/16, and vs. Archbishop Moeller on 9/30.
