League Statistics
I just wanted say that I feel really special to be a part of Pacific Coast Babeball. Your a great group of gentleman with firm figures. I appreciate all that you do for me and my numbers. I thank my team for helping me put up the numbers I produce (without me they would be average at best). I hope I can go from Pacific Coast to being a Dodger next year. Thanks again for making me stand out in the crowd.
Paul Zuniga
All of us who knew Paul, most recently the player/manager of the LA Crows (2006 and 2007 summer seasons) will miss him very much. Paul died a month ago after a long battle with cancer. He was only 43. Paul was a true professional who loved the game, the team, and the players. While Paul had been associated with the league since 1993, winning many championships, 2006 was his most recent success, leading the LA Crows to the runner-up position in the AA League Championship game at Jethawk Stadium. Our hearts go out to his loving wife, Aimee, his parents, and family.

Thanks PCBL teams
The San Gabriel Hornets would like to thank the PCBL and all the teams in the Federal Division for the opportunity of playing baseball this Summer 2008. Our team did not play as well as we had hoped, but then again the competition we faced had a lot to do with that. good luck and continued success.
Sincerely, Jack Frandsen & Hornets Baseball
PCBL loses it's biggest fan.
After a seven year battle with Alzheimer's long time Pacific Coast League fan Ruthie Waggoner passed away on February 11th. She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Robert Roy Waggoner, along with her son and current manager of the San Gabriel Valley Hornets Jack Frandsen.
It was during the 1934 baseball season that Ruthie became a fan of the P.C.B.L. During that time her favorite team was the San Francisco Seals who happened to have a young 20 year old outfielder by the name of Joe DiMaggio. In the three plus seasons that DiMaggio played in the P.C.B.L. from 1932 to 1935. It was Ruthie mother Gertrude Hill who always baked an apple pie for Joe every Sunday when the Seals played at home.
In one of Ruthie's last public appearances she was the press box guest of current PCBL president James DuPrey during the 2006 championship games at Jet Hawk Stadium in Lancaster. Our hats are off to this wonderful woman who brought so much joy to the game of baseball for over 72 years. She will be missed.
