EVALUATION DAY
-
Visit the sign-in table where your paperwork will be checked, and you will be told what field to go to for your registered division. You must evaluate with the division you are registered for, if you are not sure which division you are in please Visit our Sports Connect Blue Sombrero registration site to check.
-
Confirm your player's uniform size next to the sign-in table. Only the pants can be switched out once uniforms are ordered, so accurate sizing is essential to provide the best-fitting uniform for your child.
-
Have your player line up to go on the field to evaluate.
Please be sure to bring your glove, bat, and helmet with you to evaluations. Players will be hitting, running, fielding, and pitching (excluding Coach Pitch Division). Players who were part of BRLL in the past should wear their team jersey from the last season they played.
VOLUNTEERS
With our number of players, it takes lots of people to operate a smooth evaluation. If you are interested in volunteering at the sign-in tables or on the fields, please reach out to us at info@bocalittleleague.com. Your support and assistance are invaluable to us.
WHAT’S NEXT
Rosters of 12 - 15 players are determined by a live draft, starting with a blank slate each season. The draft process and finalization of all rosters take about 2 weeks, so please allow 2 weeks before expecting to receive your roster and hear from your coach.
If after evaluations or due to any reason you have decided not to play this season, please let us know via email to info@bocalittleleague.com ASAP. We would be sad to see you leave but we often have waitlists of players that would be eager to fill your spot. Refunds will not be issued after our drafts are complete.

Residency Requirement
To play in Boca Raton Little League you must reside or attend school in Boca Raton. When registering you will be asked to select a method of verification. If you select school you must submit the School Enrollment form, if you select home you must submit Proof of Residency documents. These forms and documents must be submitted via email to info@bocalittleleague.com
Non-Residency Fee
Although you have a Boca Raton address, it doesn't necessarily mean you live in Boca Raton City Limits. Parts of Boca Raton are considered to be in unincorporated Palm Beach County and are serviced by the County. Check the City limits map to see if you're within the City's boundaries. If you reside outside of the city limits, you will be required to pay the non-resident fee of $70. Please be sure to select this option when registering your player.
Coaching
If you are interested in coaching or helping your team on the field a background check and fingerprints are required. To start that process, you MUST register online by clicking the volunteer tab when registering and follow the instructions.
More instructions on the background procedures can be found here:
NEW BACKGROUND CHECK REQUIREMENTS
Thanks,
Boca Raton Little League
NEW BACKGROUND CHECK REQUIREMENTS (SPRING 2025)
Florida Statute 943.0438 now requires volunteers or employees working with youths to submit electronic fingerprints and a waiver for a level 2 background check. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) and FBI will receive your fingerprints and maintain them along with your results in the Volunteer and Employee Criminal History System (VECHS). Disqualifying offenses can be found under Florida Statute 435.04
This is separate from the JDP background check required by Little League. BRLL has contracted with local Nonprofit Spirit of Giving Network to provide this service to our volunteers at a reduced rate of $60 per volunteer. UNFORTUNATELY, for 2025, volunteers will be responsible for paying the $60 fee out of pocket. BRLL will continue to work on reducing this fee and will build it into enrollment for future seasons.
Spirit of Giving Network will provide their fingerprinting service at Sugar Sand Park during player evaluations. If you cannot attend evaluations or enroll after, you can schedule to have it done at their office (APPOINTMENTS ARE REQUIRED FOR OFFICE VISITS)
REQUIRED FORM (YOU MUST BRING THIS WITH YOU): Spirit of Giving BG Screening Form
